Like your growing family, we're busy finishing our new addition. Our new Family Birth Center at Randall Children's Hospital opens Summer 2021. While we build, learn more about the services at Randall Children's Hospital and how we care for the most fragile patients.

Family Birth Center at Randall Children’s Hospital

  • Have confidence with us knowing we will guide your birth experience, from low risk births with midwives to the most advanced medical interventions available if needed.
  • Full range of birthing options, including midwifery services, water birth and nitrous oxide. Moms can bring their own doula.
  • Calm, spacious rooms with view of Mt. Hood and downtown Portland, including birthing rooms with soaking tubs.
  • Every room can accommodate your family.
  • Amenities include room service, valet parking, Kite Café and healing gardens. Family members have access to our gym, movie theater and school for your baby’s siblings.
  • Access to our maternal fetal medicine and neonatal specialists, with dedicated obstetric hospitalists.

Randall Children's Hospital

Sometimes a newborn needs extra care and attention. Our new family birth center will just be floors above our Level IV NICU (the highest level of neonatal care) providing compassionate services for our newest and smallest patients. In our family-integrated environment we provide the best care for your baby, all based in research and best practices - all in one building.
